Övre Vasastaden Project

Welcome to Övre Vasastaden!

Vasastaden is a very special district in Linköping, offering all the advantages of a vibrant urban environment. Pionero already owns several properties in Vasastaden, and we are now participating in the development of former industrial land into residential housing in an attractive location near the future central station.

Linköping’s newest district, Övre Vasastaden, is located in the northern part of Linköping as an extension of Vasastaden. The expansion of this popular district—with its proximity to the city center, travel center, Tornby shopping area, and the E4 motorway—has been long-awaited by many.

A new district square has been created in the area, which, in addition to a grocery store, also features restaurants and smaller shops.

We own two properties in the area and will construct approximately 75 rental apartments and 1–2 commercial premises. There will be a mix of sizes with an emphasis on two-room apartments with a kitchen. Many of the apartments will feature balconies.

Tannefors Health Center Project

Pionero owns and manages the property where Tannefors Health Center is located, and we are now pleased to present the project where we are densifying the area by erecting an additional building. The health center will have premises for its operations on the ground floor, and above that, there will be approximately 15–20 rental apartments.

With its unique location in the center of Tannefors and just a stone’s throw from Tannefors Church, it has been important to preserve the fine architectural environment. We are achieving this, in part, by ensuring the new building’s position and volume mimic the nearby buildings on Nya Tanneforsvägen. There will also be a colonnade that enhances the pathway leading up toward the church.
