About Pionero

We create space
– for life and for the best the city has to offer

Pionero Fastigheter is a small, family-oriented company with significant ambitions. We are driven by curiosity and the joy of seeing places transform and gain new life. Our daily work involves developing residential and commercial properties where people can live, work, and build their lives. We enjoy seeing ideas take real shape. From the first idea to the finished place, we aim to work close to the projects, close to the people, and close to the city in which we operate.
Pionero is owned by Anders and Sara Carlsson and is a sister company to Husherren Fastigheter in Örebro, although the companies are operated independently of each other.

Why “Pionero”?

Pionero is the Spanish word for pioneer. The name reflects our desire to break new ground, think independently, and build for the future. The lion in our logo symbolises courage, strength, and perseverance—qualities needed when you want to create something that will stand the test of time.

Our team

Anders likes it when there is a lot going on, and he enjoys (of course) juggling many tasks at once. In his day-to-day work, he is involved with the Christian mission organisation Youth With A Mission (YWAM), but his commitment to real estate is strong. Anders is married to Sara, and together they have four children.

For the city’s best

We want to be a company that helps make Linköping a little better. Partly through our work developing homes, places, and properties where people enjoy being. But also by being a company that functions well, creates jobs, and invests in the city for the long term.

In addition to our own operations, we also want to contribute in other ways. That is why we support various initiatives and organisations that work for people and society in and outside Linköping.

Community engagement

Our drive and our values come from our Christian faith. It shapes how we want to run the company and how we want to meet people. We believe that businesses can play a role in creating opportunities—through work, through places where people can meet, and through collaborations that make society more inclusive.

Some of the contexts we are involved in include:

Linköpings FF
A football club where young men from different backgrounds are given the opportunity to develop, both as players and as people.

Hjärta till Hjärta
A charitable organisation that works both locally in Östergötland and internationally, including in Romania.

Gå Ut Mission
A mission organisation that works with church planting and various initiatives in countries where churches are few.

In addition, we also support other initiatives and efforts—sometimes visible, sometimes more behind the scenes. For us, it ultimately comes down to the same thing: contributing to a city and a society where more people are given the opportunity to grow.

Our Values

Be a blessing in the city
In various ways, we want to help create good opportunities for people in Linköping.

Doing what is right
Righteousness is a word we believe in. It is about being faithful to what we promise and doing what is right.

Be generous
Generosity is about giving without expecting anything in return. We want generosity in various forms to characterise our company.

Believe in people
We believe that every person is valuable and has something to contribute if they are given the right conditions and someone believes in them.

Work hard
We see it as our responsibility—and privilege—to give the best we have, based on our abilities.

Excellent service
For us, excellent service means, among other things, receiving good answers in a timely manner and being treated in a friendly and respectful way.
