Requirements for Renting an Apartment?

You must be 18 years of age and have no payment defaults or debts with the Swedish Enforcement Authority. You must be able to pay the rent with your income from employment or CSN loans. We always conduct a credit check and may contact previous landlords for references.

Do I Need My Own Electricity Contract?

Household electricity is paid by the tenant, so you need your own electricity subscription that starts on the day you move in. You can contact Tekniska Verken for assistance with connection.

How Do I Get Broadband?

Our properties have a connection to Tele2. Contact them directly on their website.

Do I Need Home Insurance?

As a tenant with us, you must have home insurance. If you cause any damage to the apartment or property, you as the tenant will be financially responsible.

Are There Parking Spaces Available for Rent?

You can follow this link where you can find and apply for available parking spaces.

How Do I Pay My Rent?

Rent is paid in advance and must be received by the last day of each month. Rent invoices are sent via email each quarter. You can also find the rent invoices on the website when you log in to your pages.

How Do I Terminate My Lease?

Termination must always be made in writing. The notice period is three calendar months and the contract expires at the end of the month closest to when we receive the termination notice.

There is a termination form available for download from the website under ‘my home’. Fill it in and email it to us or send it by post.

Can I Sublet My Apartment?

If you wish to sublet your apartment, you must first submit an application. There is a subletting application form available for download from the website.

Valid reasons for subletting include temporary work or studies in another location, trial cohabitation, or extended stays abroad. Once we have approved the application, we must also approve the lease agreement you have made with your subtenant. There is a lease agreement for subtenants available for download from the website. Please note that you may charge a maximum of 15% extra in rent if the apartment is furnished, and that you are responsible for the condition of the apartment and for ensuring that rent is paid on time each month. Subletting without permission is punishable under the Tenancy Act and you also risk losing your first-hand contract.

How Do I Report a Fault in My Apartment?

Fault reports are submitted via the website. Log in with your BankID. Click on the “My Home” tab and select “Fault Report”. Remember to verify that your contact information is correct. Indicate whether you wish to be contacted to schedule a time for repair, or if it is acceptable for the property caretaker to enter with a key if you are not home. Contact us if you are ill and we will come another day.
